One tip, if you dont land centered on the jelly there is not much chance for recovery, maybe make the platform around them a little more solid

JICE is a first person action platformer, set in a ruined candy factory.

Discover the secret of a mega space corporation and make some new friends. Find your way to the core of the factory in the fastest way possible using wall running, jumping and more! Reveal hidden paths, acquire unexpected weapons and keep an eye on the energy - your only resource that powers abilities and protects you from harm.

The game is currently in development, but you can follow the devlog here and share your thoughts! Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

DEMO is GONE (for now)

Progress on implementing new animations! I think the true first person camera approach where you can see your character’s movements besides arms works really well for parkour games.

Trying out some new animations

New character model in the game, with textures and stuff. Time for a happy spin

Progress so far is looking pretty good! The main character model is ready, and it is time to adjust some UVs and slap on some textures.

3D main character is in progress, slow but steady! I haven’t had much experience in modeling humans, so this for sure is challenging. I decided to make the whole model from scratch to better familiarize myself with the process.

Developing the main character look - here is a sketch!

Patch v.1.7.1 - new sky and stuff

Update on the previous post - dynamic lighting is TOO needy, but I might consider it as a higher-end graphics setting option for the full game. So for now it is a battle between me and static lighting
